After the US move to get Turkey out of the F-35 fighter jet, the Russian response was not long, but came militarily.
Moscow has offered Ankara to sell Su-35 fighters and more sophisticated SU-57 fighters, according to the CEO of Russian arms manufacturer Rostec, he added that his country is ready to sell Turkey some of its most advanced fighter jets.
This potential sale comes after the United States has excluded its NATO ally from the F-35 fighter program, after two years of escalating US tension with Turkey, as a result of Ankara's insistence on buying Russian S-400 missiles.
Washington has indicated that Turkey will not receive any of the F-35 planes it has planned to purchase, including four planes paid for, and that all Turkish staff associated with the program should leave the United States.
The move, according to the Pentagon, will cost the Turkish industry $ 9 billion, while awaiting a new US sanctions package that could weigh heavily on Turkey's already exhausted economy.
