A clash erupted on Twitter today between American singer Lady Gaga and President Donald Trump's campaign team due to the American singer's opposition to using hydraulic fracturing technology in oil and natural gas exploration.
Trump's rival in the US presidential election to be held Tuesday, Democratic candidate Joe Biden, announced that Lady Gaga will participate with him on Monday in a campaign meeting during which the audience will be in cars on the "Drive-in" manner in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, which is very important in the election to the White House.
Trump's team quickly responded. Tim Murtaugh, communications director for President Donald Trump’s reelection campaign., wrote on Twitter that: "Nothing exposes Joe Biden's disdain for the forgotten working men and women of Pennsylvania like campaigning with anti-fracking activist Lady Gaga."
Lady Gaga, known for her commitment to fighting hydraulic fracturing, also responded to Murtaugh and Trump on Twitter, writing: "I am happy I am glad to be living rent free in your head."
The star attached her tweet to Murtaugh's statement, to electronic stickers, and to the phrase "Vote for Biden". Murtaugh thanked Lady Gaga sarcastically for enabling her 82 million followers to view his press release.
"I hope a lot of people in PA will see this statement," he added.
