The US Senate has cleared President Donald Trump of two charges of abuse of office powers and obstruction of Congress.

In the first two of Trump's two rounds of voting, the Republican-dominated Senate acquitted the Republican of accusing Democrats of acting inappropriately about withholding US security aid earmarked for Ukraine.

The Senate voted to reject the charge 52 against 48, while 53 members voted to reject the second charge, compared to 47 others, by support.

He had accused the US House of Representatives Trump of pressuring Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky more than once to investigate the son of Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden, just as how Hunter Biden got a job with a Ukrainian gas company.

Reports indicated that Trump threatened Ukraine to suspend US military aid of more than $ 250 million to pay the Ukrainian government to conduct politically-motivated investigations ... in favor of President Trump's 2020 re-election campaign.

Trump and some members of the Republican Party have raised questions about whether Hunter Biden's tenure as a member of the board of directors of the Ukrainian gas company Burisma is a conflict of interest.

According to reports, Hunter Biden joined the board of the Ukrainian company in 2014, shortly after his father's visit to Ukraine.

Biden boasted in 2016, when he was a deputy.
