Netflix deposits some old devices. Among them is Samsung

Netflix announced that it will stop services on a number of old devices, including some smart TVs, according to the site "The Virg".

The source said that the US platform for streaming services will not show, as of December 1, any content on some old devices, such as the old TVs of Samsung and Vizio.

The announcement was confirmed by Samsung, which reported that Netflix service was discontinued on older smart TVs, which were produced between 2010 and 2011, because of what it called "technical limitations."

Vizio also said its 4-year-old will no longer support Netflix.

It is expected that users of the target devices will face a message on the screens of their devices, announcing that the Netflix service is permanently stopped.

Over time, Netflix will stop supporting all older devices, which could be widely criticized, given that people tend to use TVs for a long time.
