Forbes magazine has ranked the tennis star Serena Williams as the highest-paid athlete in the world in 2019, according to an annual ranking published on Tuesday.
Serena, the winner of 23 major titles, won $29.2 million over the 12 months to June, including $2.4 million in prize money, the U.S. magazine said.
