Coronavirus arrived north Korea. And the declaration of extreme emergency

Nearly 7 months after its appearance in China’s “neighbor” and its outbreak around the world, North Korea announced on Sunday that it is in a “state of emergency” after suspending its first case of coronavirus, according to official media, acknowledging for the first time that the Covid-19 epidemic may be arrived in the country.

The North Korean Central News Agency described the infection as "a person suspected of being infected with the feline virus, who returned on July 19 after illegally crossing the border demarcation line," according to "AFP."

Pyongyang had previously said that no cases of Covid-19, the disease caused by the coronavirus, had been recorded, and that the country's borders were still closed.
