Trump comments on UFOs records

US President Donald Trump has described the video clips released by the US Department of Defense of what he believes to be "UFOs" as "infernal".

Donald Trump said the video, which the Pentagon broadcast to "unknown weather phenomena," a name that is usually given to UFOs, was "infernal video," but added, asking whether "if it was true."

Trump said about the videos: "I just wonder if it is real ... This is an infernal video," according to Reuters.

Earlier, the Pentagon had officially released 3 videos showing what appeared to be unidentified flying objects moving quickly as they were being photographed by infrared cameras, two of which involved military pilots interacting with the speed at which objects moved, while one speculated that it might be a "plane without pilot."

The US Navy has recognized the authenticity of the videos, which were previously released by a private company last September.

However, according to Pentagon spokesperson Sue Gough, it was officially published early last week "in order to clarify any misconceptions by the public about whether the footage was circulated is real or not, or whether there are more videos or not".

It is noteworthy that in 2017, one of the pilots who saw one of these unknowns in 2004 informed CNN that it had moved in ways that could not be explained.

The US president is skeptical of unknown objects. In an interview with ABC News last year, Trump said he had had a meeting on the subject, but he is skeptical that fast-moving things could be anything from outside the Earth.

"I have had a very brief meeting about it ... but people say they see strange flying objects. Do I believe it? Not particularly," he said in the interview.

The Pentagon has previously been studying recordings of anonymous aerial interviews as part of a secret program that has since been closed, but was disclosed at the request of former Nevada Senator Harry Reid.
