Japanese official to Lebanon. The goal "Return of Ghosn"

Carlos Ghosn .. wide controversy

The Japanese Deputy Minister of Justice will travel to Lebanon early next week to emphasize the necessity that Carlos Ghosn, former President of Nissan, be tried in Japan.

The Japanese Ministry of Justice said that the official, Hiro Yukiyoshi, will leave Tokyo on Saturday and meet with Lebanese Ministry of Justice officials on Monday.

Carlos Ghosn, the former head of the Renault and Nissan auto alliance, ran away from Japan late last year while awaiting trial for financial crimes. He denies all charges against him.

Ghosn said that he fled to Lebanon, where he spent his childhood, to clear his name. Lebanon has not concluded a treaty with Japan to extradite the wanted.

Ghosn returned to Twitter on late Thursday, for the first time in more than a month, calling for the collection of signatures for a petition calling for the release of Greg Kelly, the former chief executive in April, who was arrested with Ghosn.
