Heat the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. 2. Add the onion and garlic and stir for 5 minutes until the onion is tender. 3. Add corn, salt and pepper and stir for 5 minutes. 4. Add the broth and simmer for 10 minutes. 5. Add the cream and bring to boil for 5 minutes. 6. Pour the soup into dishes and serve hot.
