BOSS × Meissen Limited Edition is exclusively launched in Dubai

This holiday season, the two world-famous German brands, BOSS and Meissen, are working together for the first time. 

Inspired by the “Big Five Figurines” associated with the Meissen name, this collaboration celebrates the love of both marks for quality, design and creativity. The limited edition BOSS × Meissen Collection, exclusively for the first time around the world, will be launched at the Dubai Mall on October 28, in a makeshift shop in the fashion corner.

Founded in 1710, the historic Meissen porcelain manufacturer has been known for more than 300 years for its exceptional craftsmanship. Maximilian Hagstutz's five large sculptures include African lion, leopard, elephant, rhinoceros and buffalo, each decorated in black and white to highlight the features that characterize these animals.

Inspired by traditional African wood carvings, these majestic animals are the inspiration for BOSS's limited edition collection of unique men's and women's clothing, not to mention the Meissen brand's five limited edition ceramic cups that will be available at BOSS and Meissen stores around the world.

The limited edition fashion collection is both casual and formal for both men and women, all in black and white. The five animal patterns are evident in embroideries, on jacquard and appear as patterns on cashmere, silk and leather.

Key pieces include a women's Intersia-style lion cashmere sweater and a black and white lion-patterned men's cotton t-shirt. The collection also features perfect evening pieces, such as elegant silk jacquard neckties, fine pocket napkins and embroidered shirts, while leather accessories feature a unique combination of animal patterns and the first two HUGO BOSS characters which are HB.

To celebrate cooperation, HUGO BOSS will make a donation to the Elephants Charitable Society of Africa, which works with local and national actors in Botswana to provide extensive education and social services to preserve these famous animals.

Customers will be able to view the "Big Five Figurines" up close, with large animal models that will appear at BOSS stores around the world.
