The Libyan army's air force operations room spokesman said army planes targeted Zuwara International Airport, 120 kilometers west of the capital Tripoli, which is used to take off Turkish drones.

Libyan Air Force planes hit two garages inside the airport, while a runway and a passenger terminal were avoided, the statement said.

The Libyan army said earlier that it had made further progress towards the capital, Tripoli, and confirmed that Al-Wefaq militias had fled the area of Al-Aziziya

In the south, field data confirmed the army's complete control of Marzak in clashes that the army spokesman said was a battle against mercenaries and ISIS militants.

Libyan army spokesman Ahmed al-Masmari confirmed that what is happening in The City of Murzuq is ethnic cleansing of the Tabu component there, noting that the battle is going with the support of the city's residents and youth.

Regarding the Tripoli battles, al-Masmari said the forces responded to an attack by terrorist groups that tried to target Tripoli airport after the truce.

He said Tripoli militias are reeling in the face of strikes by the armed forces, especially after the destruction of the Turkish air defense system in Misrata.

In previous days, eight cars were detained in the area by the al-Kufra military area, al-Masmari said.
