If you are keen on a bright smile, coffee is one of the things that has a striking effect on the color of the teeth, making it look yellower, so experts advise a number of useful steps.
According to South Korean website Chosen Elbo, the color of the teeth is influenced by tea and coffee, and this risk is exacerbated in the case of drinking too many drinks rich in caffeine.
This damage occurs, because the tannin found in both tea and coffee can stick to the tooth and then cause it to lose the original color.
The harmful effects of this substance are not limited to color, but lead to general damage to the teeth, due to the stimulation of bacteria inside the mouth and the erosion of so-called "Enamel" the protective layer of the tooth.
Experts are advised to increase dental cleaning, such as doing it twice a day at least, while the majority of the cleaning before they just go to sleep.
And urges medical advice, to wash teeth after drinking coffee and tea whenever possible, and the other trick is to mix coffee with some milk, and not to absorb it is completely black.
But regularly cleaning your teeth will not prevent yellowing, as this will inevitably happen, but it will reduce the times you go to your dentist for whitening sessions.
