On Thursday, social media patrons circulated the first footage showing the arrest of a man who stabbed a man inside a mosque in London.
The video shows the suspect perched on top of a British security officer, handcuffed.
In other footage, five British security officers escorted the man and took him outside the mosque.
An internet pioneer posted pictures showing a man lying on the ground under the control of two police officers.
He said that the victim was the muezzin of the mosque.
The man, who said his name was Murshid, recounted that "a white-skinned terrorist entered the Regent's Park mosque during afternoon prayers and stabbed the muezzin in the neck."
"It's so terrible. (No longer) any Muslim is safe in his place of worship."
Earlier, British police announced that a man had been injured by a knife attack at a mosque near Regent's Park.
"A man was found injured in the stabbing," the police said in a statement. He was treated by paramedics before being taken to hospital."
According to British police, a man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of attempted murder.
