Tragic end of Miss Pakistan

In what the international media described as "tragic", the former Miss Pakistan, Zanib Naveed, was killed in a terrible accident.

According to the New York Post, Zanib Naveed was driving on the Maryland highway a few days ago when her car overturned to the second side of the road. Naveed, 32, was thrown out of the car after the accident and died immediately, police said.

In the incident report, the police indicated that Naveed was alone in the car during the incident, which occurred around midnight, and 

that there was no sign of her drinking alcohol. Naveed was crowned Miss Pakistan in 2012 and participated in the Miss World pageant in Toronto.

Naveed headed the Miss Pakistan organization in the United States and spent most of her life in that country.

In her last Facebook post on November 21, Naveed posted a picture of herself sitting on a ladder in a shiny gold dress, writing , "The greatest self is a peaceful smile, that always sees the world smiling back."
