A pyramid-shaped asteroid, about 430 feet long, will cross a path parallel to Earth on Sunday, NASA said.
The VH5 asteroid will pass at a distance of up to 18 times the distance between Earth and the moon, according to NASA's Center for NEOs research at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory.
The average distance between Earth and the moon is 238,855 miles, so the asteroid will be about 4.27 million miles from our planet and will travel 6.1 miles per second.
The dimensions of the asteroid are 57 meters and 130 meters, and it will not pose any danger on the ground, given the long distance that will separate them, according to the "Fox News" website.
