In a strange and rare event... Doctors have pulled nearly 526 years of age from the mouth of a 7-year-old Indian child.

The child, Ravindranath, was brought to The Saveetha Dental College in Chennai after complaining of swelling in his jaw, and his parents were worried that he might develop oral cancer. According to The Independent newspaper.
Doctors later discovered a large solid structure, weighing about 200 grams, inside his jaw, which led the doctors to involve in removing them, and when the steel part was opened, they found 526 tooth-like pieces, ranging in size from 1 mm to 15 mm, each with a crown covered with enamel.

"We opened the jaw after giving him a general anesthetic. We found a solid piece weighing 200 grams and contained 526 small, medium and large teeth," said Dr. P Senthilnathan, a professor at the Saveetha School of Dentistry.

The boy managed to maintain his other 21 regular teeth, had surgery for free, and the cause of the rare condition is not yet known, but Dr. Pratiba Ramani, a professor at the faculty, said that genetic problems may be one of the causes, adding: "It is also possible that the radiation released from cell phones for a reason."

According to the Guinness Book of Records, Vijay Kumar, also from India, maintains his record for the largest number of teeth in the mouth, with 37 full-size teeth.
